A sports floor has to fulfil a variety of very strict demands. Certification to DIN 18032-2, April 2001, known worldwide as the “DIN Standard”, is a key factor on which investors base their decisions, providing essential information on the durability, performance and protective properties of a sports floor. The excellent shock absorption and resilience of our sports flooring minimise the impact on the athletes’ musculoskeletal system This prevents injuries as well as premature tiring. An excellent ball rebound makes the game fast.

We do not want to judge the way in which other manufacturers handle international standards. But we know with certainty that HARO sports floors not only meet all six requirements of the latest DIN V 18032-2, April 2001 standard, but exceed them by far. Additionally, the annual RAL quality audit conducted in cooperation with the independent German test firm “Gütegemeinschaft Sporthallenböden e.V.” proves that our DIN-certified sports floors continue to reach high standards of quality year after year. It goes without saying that all of our sports floors are likewise tested in accordance with the harmonised EN 14904 standard.

All HARO sports floors bear the RAL quality seal. For decision-makers, this distinction is a reliable indicator of a premium product with excellent suitability. Only sports floors whose quality and properties have been tested by testing institutes approved by the “Gütegemeinschaft Sportböden e.V.”, Berlin, under the RAL GZ 942 guidelines and which fully comply with the requirements of DIN V 18032-2, April 2001, are entitled to bear the RAL quality seal.
